The documents relevant specific to the erf and the utilisation thereof includes the following:
- The Notarial Deed No K337/2014S
- The Government Notice No 4843, dated 1 December 2011
- The Deed of Transfer T1417/2015, dated 29 January 2015
- The Deed of Cancellation of Conditions K475/2015 dated 14 August 2015
Some of the salient requirements from these documents indicates that the development of the erf should be at least 4 times the municipal value; and the erf should be utilised within three years of the transfer of it to ECC.
The erf size is 5 195 m2.
Therefore, the ECC and its development partners pledged their willingness to assist the Elisenheim Community meeting these conditions by providing the funds for the development of at least some part of the Elisenheim Community Church Centre, which should be ready to be utilised by March 2018. The funds pledged by the ECC and its development partners amounts to NAD 2.8 million.
